  • Every child is different, thus there is no specific age that is perfect for everyone. A general range is 3-5 years old. However, if you can answer yes to these three questions, your child is likely ready to start taking lessons.

    1. Are they toilet trained?

    2. Will they meet the teacher with minimum shyness? (Some shyness is okay)

    3. Will they show an interest in following a simple suggestion or instruction by the teacher?

  • Created by Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki, the Suzuki Method is a unique approach to learning violin based on the idea that Every Child can learn music the same way they learn their native language—through listening, imitation, and repetition. This method emphasizes starting at a young age and listening to recordings of the music to be learned. Parents play an essential role in the child’s learning process by attending lessons, playing recordings of pieces to be learned, and practicing with the child at home.

Lessons emphasize developing a beautiful tone, encouragement and positive reinforcement, mastering pieces through memorization, helping students develop discipline, confidence, and a deep appreciation for music.
